Supporting the Students & Programs of

Wilshire Crest Elementary &
Dual Language Program School

Home of the Terrific Tigers

Whether you’re a returning family or new to our school, we want to welcome you! The mission of the Wilshire Crest PTA is to create an environment where all children can achieve their maximum potential through the positive support of our community, parents, staff, and teachers. Throughout the year, PTA members create supportive programs and organize fun events to help achieve this mission. Join today to be a part of what makes our school great!

Wilshire Crest Elementary is a small, Title I PreK-5th Grade neighborhood school with a traditional education program, a Spanish/English dual language program, and specialized offerings in music, physical education, gardening, and more. Please visit our school website for more information.

With your PTA memberships all things are possible...school garden program, field trips, teacher appreciation, family events, library books and resources!

Building Our Community

PTA members build our school community through volunteering, organizing events, and fundraising. Our activities include movie nights, book fairs, restaurant nights, school dances, free book exchanges, talent shows…and more!

Support for Teachers

We support our teachers by funding field trips, raising money for special programs or supplies, and helping out with special events and activities throughout the year.

Funding the School Garden

PTA members founded our school garden program in 2008, and have been supporting it ever since. We now help to fund the weekly garden education classes and nutrition program provided by the Garden School Foundation, help out on garden work days, and raise funds for other garden projects as needed. Learn more about our school garden!

When I first started volunteering with PTA at Wilshire Crest, I had no idea I’d stay for 15 years (long after my own child moved on)...but it’s been a great way to become a part of the school community, and to support and grow wonderful programs - like the garden we started in 2008. If you’re looking for ways to make a difference, please join us!
